How the FAF works
FAF = 0.69% for every full 5c/L the MBIE average is above $2.00
- It is shown as a separate line on your invoice.
- It is set on the 1st of each month from last month's average of MBIE's weekly national diesel price (incl. GST), and published here by the 3rd.
- It moves both ways. At $2.00/L or below the FAF is 0%.
- No other supplier fuel surcharges are added.
